Thousands of dollars in scholarships were awarded to Carroll County High School seniors last night at the annual academic honors night. The Top 20 seniors in the class were also highlighted and they recognized their most influential educator. The event was hosted and sponsored by the Carrollton Rotary Club.

Congratulations to four of our CCHS Panthers baseball players for their selection to the All 31st District baseball team. Senior Coy Willhoite was also named 31st District Player of the Year. Congratulations to all of these student athletes! The Panthers begin district tournament play on Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. at Panther Field. Come out and support our Panthers!
Carroll County Area Technology Center's electrical technology students learned skills while helping install an intruder alert system in the building.

Hello Panther family! Rumors have been circulating on social media and among the CCHS student body that a threat has been made toward the high school for Monday. The high school administration and School Resource Officer team began addressing this rumor on Friday. There is no credible threat to CCHS at this time.
Today is School Communicators Day! At Carroll County Schools, we’re fortunate to have an incredible communications team that goes above and beyond every day. Under the leadership of Jennifer Willhoite, Director of Public Relations, this team works tirelessly to highlight the amazing work happening across our district and to keep our community informed and connected.

Pre-Nursing and Certified Medical Assistant students at the Carroll County Area Technology Center worked on their CPR skills recently.
The HOSA Chapter at the Carroll County Area Technology Center sponsored a blood drive this month. A total of 24 students registered and 18 were eligible donors.

The Carroll County Schools maintenance department is hard at work beautifying one of the entrances to Carroll County High School.
Carroll County Schools Nutrition Services will be offering a 10-day boxed meal kit to children ages 1 - 18. These may be picked up on assigned dates starting Friday June 6. Each box will contain 10 complete breakfasts and 10 complete lunches, all at NO COST TO OUR FAMILIES. All contents of the boxes are shelf stable items to help with limited refrigerator and freezer space. Each box will contain a menu that will show what items should be included to make a specific meal for each day. These meals are procured through a vendor and are not prepared by the school district. However, District Food Service staff will be in charge of the distribution. Please sign up to ensure that we have enough boxes on hand to meet demand. Sign ups will run through July 14. CCHS Band students received a DISTINGUISHED rating at the KMEA State Concert Band Assessment! They have worked incredibly hard to achieve this goal. All three of the judges and UofL Band faculty were thoroughly impressed with their preparation and performance.
