If weather allows, practice will occur on the baseball field at CCHS. If it does not, practice will be in the conditioning center. Practice is every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Players can wear cleats on the field, but only tennis shoes are allowed in the conditioning center.
All players must have a current sports physical in order to participate.

Carroll County Schools will participate in the Kentucky Incentives for Prevention (KIP) Survey on Nov. 4, giving students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 an opportunity to anonymously share their experiences and perspectives.
The KIP Survey is an important source of information about the issues affecting Kentucky students, including mental health, substance use, social media and other areas that can impact students’ well-being and success.
Most importantly, the information gathered through the survey will help Carroll County Schools better understand the needs of our students and guide prevention and support efforts.
“This is one true way that students can anonymously convey their needs to us, and we take this data and genuinely do something with it,” said CCHS counselor Laura Beth Neff. “The sole purpose of the survey is to gather data so we can proactively address the needs of our students.”
Participation requires parent/guardian permission. Permission forms will be sent home and will also be available electronically. A link is available at the end of this story. Because the survey is designed to provide meaningful data about our students, participation is especially important.
“The biggest component is that, in order for this data to be usable and helpful, we need the most participation we can get,” Neff said.
The survey is anonymous and is not connected to a student’s school account. Students will complete the survey during the school day on Nov. 4, and it should take approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Parents and guardians who would like to review the survey questions before giving permission may do so by requesting a copy at the middle or high school front office.
More information and reminders about the KIP Survey will be shared with families in the coming weeks. Anyone with questions or needing more information should contact Jeaneen Crutcher at jeaneen.crutcher@carroll.kyschools.us.

Each family is asked to complete the Household Income Form (HIF), a completely private and confidential form that has a big impact on the funding our schools receive. Please complete the form today! If you have already completed the form, thank you!
The number of forms completed directly affects the resources available for our students, including FRYSC’s Backpack Buddies that go home with several of our students, e-rate funding that provides affordable high-speed internet, and many other essential programs that support families across our district.
Completing the HIF takes less than 3-4 minutes, and every student needs a form on file. Our goal is to have completed forms for 80% of our students.
Please take a few moments today to fill out your student’s Household Income Form. Your effort makes a lasting difference for our students, families, and schools.
