As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, we want to remind families that students are not permitted to take balloons, glass vases, or any object that blocks the aisle/exits on the school bus. These items can create safety concerns and distractions during transportation.
Please do not send these types of gifts to school with your child. If you would like to surprise your student, we encourage small items that can easily fit inside their backpack. 💌🎁
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and our buses running smoothly! 🚌💛

Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to do whatever it takes make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every single day. We are so thankful for these amazing ladies and the support they provide our school family! 👏🌟

❄️❄️Carroll County Schools will use a traditional snow day tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 6, 2026 due to projected snowfall and freezing temperatures during the time buses, student drivers and staff would be on the roadways.
⭐This day is required to be made up in our calendar. We will use March 31 as the make-up day.
🖤💛We appreciate your patience and understanding as we have navigated this winter weather. We look forward to returning to school on Monday. Please stay safe and warm. 🧣

Carroll County Schools will use an NTI Day 9 tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, due to slick and hazardous road conditions ❄️. An early evening road check, especially in areas known to be challenging, showed freezing conditions developing.
For the safety of our students and staff, school will be closed. Staff will not report to buildings but will be in contact with students to share expectations for the day 💻📚.
Please stay safe and warm. 🧣☕

❄️ NTI Day Alert! ❄️
Brrr… winter is still showing off! 🥶 Due to slick, hazardous roads and ongoing snow, Carroll County Schools will use NTI Day 8 tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026.
🚫 Staff will not report to school buildings
📞Staff will be in contact with students about expectations for the day
💻Tech support will be available for staff and students from 10 a.m . to 3 p.m.
📣JCTC students, please check with your professors regarding their classes.
Bundle up and stay safe!☃️🧤🔥

Current forecasts are calling for 1–3 inches of snow, with locally higher amounts possible 🌨️. Snow is expected between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., which could create slick and hazardous road conditions impacting the safety of bus travel and student drivers 🚌🚗.
Due to the timing and expected accumulation, we believe utilizing an NTI Day is the safest decision for our students and staff. Our staff members will not report to the buildings, but they will be in contact with your child regarding the day’s expectations.
Please stay safe and warm! 🧣❄️

Hello Panther Families! 🐾🖤💛
Carroll County Schools is incredibly grateful to our city and county road crews, along with our district maintenance and custodial staff, who have worked tirelessly this week following the snowstorm. ❄️👏
However, due to continued cold temperatures, several bus routes remain impassable. For the safety of our students and staff, Carroll County Schools will use a traditional snow day tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. This day will be made up on March 30, 2026. 🗓️
Please stay safe and warm! 🧣☃️ We truly hope to welcome everyone back to school on Monday! 💙📚

📣❄️Many of our county roads are still unsafe for school buses and parking lot conditions on our campuses are potentially hazardous as well. Therefore, Carroll County Schools will use an NTI Day tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 29.
📚Staff members will not report to school buildings, but they will be in contact with your student to share expectations for the day.
⚠️All extracurricular activities are cancelled.
Thank you for your flexibility and patience. Please stay safe and warm! 🖤💛
