Join us at Panther Field from 6-8 p.m. for football, food, vendors and lots of opportunities to support our students!

If they need a new badge, it's as simple as going to the office and getting it printed ✨immediately✨. This Panther had her new badge in a matter of minutes.
🖤Your help and support in this venture is vital to its success!💛
"We had a fantastic opening day of school today! It was great to see everyone and their smiling faces today," Superintendent Casey Jaynes said. "We have the best team of people to work with your students. Each staff member goes above and beyond to make sure that we are Empowering Integrity and Engaging Community each day to be a top 10 district in the state."
Badging on and off the bus is a vital way to keep students safe. They also use the badges in the cafeteria and library. We are looking forward to a great year!

Panther families, we need your help to keep vital resources flowing into our schools. Before the new year begins, please take a few moments to complete the Household Income Form. Even though all Carroll County students receive free meals through the Community Eligibility Program, this form is still essential because it determines whether students qualify for free or reduced fees on things like courses and computer use. More importantly, it helps secure critical funding for programs like Title I and the Family Resources Youth Services Center (FRYSC), which supports our students every day. Submitting your form early not only benefits the district, but also saves our FRYSC team valuable time tracking down paperwork later. Thank you for making a difference!

Panther families, as the school year is set to begin, we would like to remind you of some basic policies that are in effect at Carroll County Schools. Each of these is important to maintain the decorum and high standards we hold for our students, staff and visitors. Please take a moment to review this information and help us to have a great 2025-2026 school year.
➡️Please note that if you would like to be a volunteer at Carroll County Schools, you must have a background check completed. The checks are in effect for three years. Please contact Jennifer Cox at 502-732-7070 to schedule an appointment.

Carroll County Middle School is kicking off an exciting new chapter by introducing the Leader in Me curriculum. The program is built to help students grow into confident, capable leaders. Based on Stephen Covey’s renowned 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, this initiative focuses on real-world skills like responsibility, goal-setting, and teamwork. Staff members have spent two full days in hands-on training with Amy Cordrey, preparing to bring these ideas to life in classrooms and across CCMS. Since Kathryn Winn Primary and Cartmell Elementary already use Leader in Me, many students will hit the ground running with concepts they know and recognize.
