Carroll County Schools wrapped up its districtwide food drive today, and we are blown away by the generosity of our Panther families! You donated more than 4,000 items! 🐾❤️ Every item donated will directly support families right here in our community. 🥫🤝
Missed your chance to give? The Carroll County Food Pantry is still accepting donations and will host a Stuff the Cruiser event on Nov. 22! 🚓🛒 There’s still time to make a difference for neighbors in need. 💛🙏

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We believe in being transparent and making sure every family knows what to expect in case of an emergency. Please take a moment to review this letter outlining our reunification procedures , which are the steps we’d follow to safely reunite students and families after an emergency.

The drive continues through Friday, Nov. 14. Donations can be dropped off at any of our schools. 🏫A number of local businesses are also accepting donations for the local food pantry.
Thank you for helping make a difference in our community! 🤝❤️

📚✨ CCMS fifth graders took their learning outdoors with a reading session at beautiful Camp KYSOC! 🌳 Surrounded by nature, they enjoyed a peaceful day in the outdoor classroom while diving into The Lightning Thief, the first book in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series ⚡📖 What an epic way to start an adventure in reading! 🌟💛

(More photos will be posted in a combined photo album on the District Facebook page.)
The district, as a whole, received approximately 4,402 items valued at $1,500. 🛒💰Those items were distributed among the schools for their school-level food pantries, which are used to fill Backpack Buddies and provide any other food assistance that students need. 🎒🥫Thank you to the generous community partners at Family Worship Center. 🙏⛪
If you would like to make a donation to our Backpack Buddies Program, please contact Amanda New at 502-662-0590. 📞🤝
As part of their social studies unit, students used only natural materials they found on the ground, nothing living, to build miniature versions of Native American homes. 🍂
Most groups created small teepees using twigs, leaves and moss. 🏕️
It was a simple, hands-on way to connect their lesson to the outdoors. 🌳📚
