Carroll County Middle School’s Leader in Me Lighthouse Action Teams have been hard at work! 🌟🏫 Students and their staff partners recently spent time team-building, strategizing, and reviewing culture, leadership and academics. Each team developed ideas and plans that reflect the 7 Habits of the Leader In Me program. 📚💡
✨ Culture Action Team - Collaborating to build a positive, inclusive school culture that supports both student and staff well-being. 🤝💛
✨ Academic Action Team - Ensuring academic growth by supporting student-led goal-setting and tracking progress. 📊🎓
✨ Leadership Action Team - Empowering students and staff to take ownership through leadership roles, student voice, and shared decision-making. 🗣️🧭

Today, our seventh-grade students took part in Truth and Consequences, an experience designed to help explore the often unforeseen impacts of the choices we make in life. It was an emotional and thought-provoking day where students had the opportunity to connect with real members of our community and learn from their stories.

We appreciate everyone who shared their time, experiences, and wisdom with our students. You made a meaningful impact on our students today.

A huge THANK YOU to English Baptist Church for their incredible generosity! 🙌💙
Today, they donated over 100 pairs of shoes 👟👞 to support all of the clothing closets across our district. Their kindness will make a meaningful difference for so many students and families. Pastor Derrick Willis delivered the donation to Family Resources Youth Services (FRYSC) Coordinator Aayme Kindoll.

Our FRYSC centers are truly grateful for this amazing support. Thank you for helping us care for our community! ❤️🙏✨

Today’s House Assembly came with an exciting Hunger Games twist. Students enjoyed two fantastic performances from the Line Dancing Club. The combined seventh- and eighth-grade bands provided some music for today's event as well.
In addition to celebrating a variety of student achievements, we announced the winner of our school-wide food drive: Reveur, the Blue House, with an impressive 388 cans collected. Their victory earned them an advantage in the “Hunger Games” Dodgeball competition, but in the end, it was Altruismo, the Black House, who was victorious.
